Sconce made out of standard hanging light socket (i.e. Ikea), 25w compact florescent bulb, vintage tennis racket frame, manila file dividers or paper
Inspired by the vintage quality of wood frames used to protect tennis racket and the similarity of it's shape to a standard iconic lampshade, we used the frame as the structure of our lamp to hold both the light hardware and clamps the paper shade in place. Shade forms and materials can vary, but we used folded reclaimed manila binder dividers for a punch of color and the details of the label tabs. The light can be used against the wall as a sconce or hung from the ceiling and viewed from all sides.
