Table lamp made out of 35 x 5L PET bottle handles, 2 x 5L PET bottles, 2.0m black cable, E27 bulb socket, E27 energy saving bulb, nylon thread, glue
Charming recycling lamp made out of mundane plastic bottles
Collect about 35 pieces of 5.0L PET bottle handles and 2 pieces of the top portion of 5.0L PET bottles. Glue the 2 pieces together at the mouth to form a table lamp stand. With a hole puncher, make 35 holes evenly spread around top side of the stand. Cut vertical slits towards the holes. The lamp stand is now ready. Next, arrange the handles in a circle, thread a PET plastic strip through the handle centre to keep the shape. This shall be the lamp shade. Place the shade on the stand and slide each handle into the holes. Put an E27 socket and energy saving bulb through the stand and lights on!
