Table lamp made out of 25 x 1,5L PET bottles, 2 x 5L PET bottles, 2.0m black cable, E27 bulb socket, E27 energy saving bulb, nylon thread, glue
Recycling lamp inspired by natural forms and patterns found in the flora kingdom
Collect and cut about 25 pieces of the top portion of 1.5L PET bottles. With a scissors, cut slits all around to all the pieces. Then gently press them to open like a flower. Thread all the flower pieces together with a nylon string running through the pieces’ opening. The lamp shade is now ready. Next get 2 pieces of the top portion of 5.0L PET bottles. Glue them together at the mouth opening for a table lamp stand. Finally place the flower shade on the stand and fasten with nylon strings. Slide an E27 socket and energy saving bulb through the stand. Lights on!
